The Bar-Gay Ranch was originally the Hawley place. Gaylord and Barbara Clark bought the house and outbuildings; the land was a school section which they leased for 99 years.

The Derby Mesa Schoolhouse, Burns, Colorado, in 1980, being used as a private residence. The front of the school has had an addition at the front door with a roof overhang. The house number reads 13060. Gaylord Clark taught in this school from 1933-1935.

Post office at Tigiwon, Colorado. Located on the way to Notch Mountain trail, it was used to postmark letters for people on pilgrimage to view the Mt. of the Holy Cross. The Post office was established June 5, 1929 and discontinued September 30, 1942 [from Colorado Post Offices 1859-1989, by Bauer, Osment and Willard, 1990].
