Myret Beal's husband, Biz, holding the hand of Jim Powell (son of Maxine King Powell) in Red Cliff. The small log cabin behind the pair is the first cabin built in Red Cliff by Wm. Greiner and G. J. DaLee in 1879. This cabin was later occupied by Jack Elliott in the 1940s.

Bridge over the Eagle River on Eagle Street, in Red Cliff. Taken on June 8, 1959, the spring runoff is quite hight and debris is collecting on the bridge pier. A dog appears to have found something of interest.

40) Beck house fire

Looking from the Fleming lumberyard at left, down to the Beck house below, which is on fire. A crowd of onlookers is gathered while a train passes in the background. The fire burned the roof and second story.
