Carr and other officials attended. The bridge and six miles of new highway built over Battle Mountain cost a total of $636,405. Pearl worked in the Henderson store and at the Red Cliff Museum. She was a member of the Eagle County Historical Society and Neighbors of Woodcraft.
Ralph Henderson owned Henderson's Variety Store in Red Cliff and sold cars in Red Cliff for Burt Chevrolet, Denver. Ralph also owned the bus line to Gilman, which took workers back and forth to the mine....
