This photograph is featured on a page with others under the title "Fine Peaceful Pasture" in the Edwards School Scrapbook, page 15. The scrapbook was completed as a youth citizens' league project between 1954-1955.
A cow with a bridle can be seen grazing between the aspens. The photograph is damaged and cracked, an example of how detrimental heavyweight paper can be to aging photographs.

Jack Oleson harvested this unique cedar trunk, then "planted" it at a complex of restored homesteads on the Diamond S Ranch. The Ranch owners named the comlex "Charlottetown, in honor of Oleson's late wife, Charlotte Nottingham Oleson.
A tour of the ranch was conducted by the Eagle County Historical Society and the Diamond S Ranch on October 5, 2013.
